Green Mark Advanced Accredited Professional Qualifying Criteria
Academic Qualification
Applicants should possess a building engineering or a building-related degree which is recognised locally.
Career History
Applicants should accumulate at least 5 years of relevant local work experience.
Course Requirement
Course Requirement Option 1
Attend and pass the Certification Course for Green Mark Advanced Accredited Professional (course conducted from Jan 2022 onwards)
OR
Course Requirement Option 2
Attend and pass one of the previous iterations of the Certification Course for Green Mark Advanced Accredited Professional:
- Certification Course for Green Mark Advanced Accredited Professional (course conducted before Jan 2022)
- Certification Course for Green Mark Advanced Accredited Professional (FM) (course conducted before Jan 2022)
- GMP or GMFP Certification Course
And attend and pass the Green Mark 2021 Refresher Course conducted by BCA Academy or SGBC.

Green Mark Project
Applicants must show evidence of involvement in Green Mark Projects
- Details of your involvement in Green Mark project(s) with your significant contribution.
- Green Mark Project Letter of Award (Example here) Date of Letter of Award must be within 5 years from date of application.
- Letter of endorsement or testimonial from Developer / Building Owner. Letter of endorsement / testimonial should be on the Developer / Building Owner's company letterhead and state clearly your contribution / efforts in the project team leading to the Green Mark Award for the project.You may use the Project Involvement Verification form as an alternative. (Template here)
Green Mark Project Assessment for the projects must be completed no earlier than (5) years from the application date.
(Note: Completion is defined as obtaining the Letter of Award issued by BCA that states the building project's Green Mark rating. The project need not have completed construction.)
GMAAP Qualifying Pathway 1
THREE (3) Green Mark Building Certifications (new building, existing building, recertification or in-operation) completed within the immediate past 5 years, which have achieved any of the following ratings:
- GoldPLUS / Platinum
- SLE/ ZE/ PE
- GoldPLUS SLE/ GoldPLUS ZE/ GoldPLUS PE
- Platinum SLE/ Platinum ZE/ Platinum PE
GMAAP Qualifying Pathway 2
TWO (2) Green Mark Building Certifications (new building, existing building, recertification or in-operation) completed within the immediate past 5 years, which have achieved any of the following higher tiered ratings:
- Platinum
- GoldPLUS SLE/ GoldPLUS ZE/ GoldPLUS PE
- Platinum SLE/ Platinum ZE/ Platinum PE
Renewal of Certification
All qualifications under the SGBC Green Mark Professional Qualification Scheme require annual renewal.
The fee for renewal is S$100+ (subject to GST charges).Renewal of qualifications is granted only upon the fulfilment of requisite Continuing ProfessionalDevelopment (CPD) points for the respective qualification.

Processing of Application
There is a one time non-refundable payment of S$100+ (subject to GST charges) upon application submission, regardless of application outcome.
Applications found ineligible or invalid will be returned to the applicant for resubmission of documents.
Applications left incomplete will expire after 3 months.
Please allow approximately 2 months for our officers to process your application upon submission.
Applicant will be notified via email of their application status.
Applicants will be evaluated and assessed by a panel and the decision in the award of the Green Mark AP certification is final.
SGBC is not obliged or bound to give any reason whatsoever for not awarding or renewing the certification.
