Before you apply, please prepare the following

- Image of Course Certificate - GMAP course / GMAAP course / Refresher course (File format: jpg / png / pdf only)
- Justification on involvement of Green Mark Project(s)
- Green Mark project(s) with your significant contribution. Details of your involvement.
- Green Mark Project Letter of Award (Example here)
Date of Letter of Award must be within 5 years from date of application. - Letter of endorsement or testimonial from Developer / Building Owner.
Letter of endorsement / testimonial should be on the Developer / Building Owner's company letterhead and state clearly your contribution / efforts in the project team leading to the Green mark Award for the project.

Green Mark Associate (GMA)
A foundation-level accreditation for new industry entrants or non-technical built environment related professionals seeking to pursue a career in the greening of the built environment or to demonstrate competence in the fundamentals of green building in Singapore. The GMA certification denotes a core understanding of sustainability, green building, Singapore's environmental sustainability legislative framework and the qualities of a green built environment.

Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAP)
- Has more than 3 years of relevant work experience and local industry practice;
- Possesses technical proficiency in the Green Mark scheme
- Takes the lead in the integration of multi-disciplinary requirements to meet Green Mark certification standards
- Serves as the Responsible Person for the submission of Green Mark project applications
- Is well versed with green building, built environment sustainability trends and developments

Green Mark Advanced Accredited Professional (GMAΑΡ)
The top-tier accreditation for technical professionals in the built environment industry with more than 5 years of experience in Green Mark projects. A GMAAP possesses deep technical expertise and is able to carry out detailed design, prediction and enhancement of building performance for Green Mark certification.
- Has more than 5 years of relevant work experience and local industry practice
- Has in-depth knowledge of the Green Mark scheme
- Possesses technical expertise in various aspects of building performance analysis, including the use of simulation tools
- Takes the lead in the integration of multi-disciplinary requirements to enhance building performance to achieve advanced Green Mark certification goals
- Serves as the Responsible Person for the submission of Green Mark project applications
- Is well versed with green building, built environment sustainability trends and developments

What are the fees involved for GMPQ scheme?
Application fees for the GMP qualification is S$100+ (subject to GST charges). GMP qualifications are valid for one year and will require annual renewal to maintain your certification. Renewal fees for GMP qualification is S$100+ (subject to GST charges).
Late fees will be incurred for renewal applications made outside the renewal application window.
I have attended the Green Mark Associate Course by SGBC, how to I apply for Green Mark Associate Qualification?
Upon completion of the Green Mark Associate Course, SGBC will verify the progress of all course participants. Verified learners will receive an email with instructions on how to log in to the portal, complete their profile, and claim their Green Mark Associate qualification.
If you have not received this email, it may be due to incomplete course modules. In such cases, please ensure all modules are completed.If you still face issues, you may contact for gmp@sgbc.sg assistance.

Do I need to be a qualified Green Mark Associate before applying for Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAP) qualification?
No, it is not necessary to be a qualified Green Mark Associate before applying for the Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAP) qualification. If you meet all the requirements for a higher tier qualification, you can apply for that qualification directly without needing to complete the prior level. This also applies to applicants for the Green Mark Advanced Accredited Professional (GMAAP) qualification. This approach allows experienced professionals to advance to the appropriate certification level based on their qualifications and experience.
I have completed the Certification Course for Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAP) by BCA Academy. How do I get my GMAP qualification?
Completion of the certification course is only 1 of the requirements for Green Mark Accredited Professional qualification.
To become a qualified Green Mark Professional, you will need to fulfil all other requirements listed under the Green Mark Professional Qualification Scheme. Before 2019, I was a certified GMM / GMFM / GMP / GMFP. How can I apply for GMP qualification?
All certified GMMs, GMFMs, GMFPs and GMPs will be required to attend and pass the Green Mark 2021 Refresher Course conducted by BCA Academy or SGBC before applying as transitioning professionals to the Green Mark Professional Qualification scheme.
In order to qualify, applicants must submit
- The certificate for your certified GMM / GMFM / GMP / GMFP
- Certificate of Completion for the Green Mark 2021 Refresher Course
